Representative Rod Blum has continued to vote against Iowans' best interests, especially where health care is concerned.
The failed repeal proposals would have eliminated protections for those with pre-existing conditions (318,300 Iowans - including 42,500 children - in his district) and increased premiums for those over 50, creating an age tax.
“Iowans can’t afford to pay the age tax that Congressman Blum would create with his vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act,” said Sue Dinsdale, director of the Iowa Alliance for Retired Americans. “Thousands of Blum’s constituents would suffer if the [bills] he voted for became law."
Rod Blum definitely isn't fighting for Iowans anymore and the stakes are far too high to keep him in Congress.
